Kiitos Cowl

$7.00

Kiitos Cowl is a fun and easy moebius cowl designed for House of A La Mode for the 2021 Rose City Yarn Crawl. Heather and I found our inspiration for this cowl in the colors and patterns of 1970's textiles. The name Kiitos Cowl comes from the Finnish word for "thank you". The theme of this year's crawl is Gratitude, and Heather and I share Finnish heritage, so the name seemed like a perfect choice!

Kits are available through House of A La Mode!

This pattern is a great way to practice stranded colorwork, as the floats and ends are hidden inside. Kiitos Cowl is knitted in a tube and then grafted together using a kitchener stitch. This allows you to easily customize the length of the cowl if you decide you want to knit an additional repeat or 2 for a bigger, looping cowl! I love this style of cowl, as it is simple and satisfying to knit, and easy to style and wear! I hope you have fun choosing your colors and knitting your own Kiitos Cowl cowl.
