Stromboli
Stromboli
This pattern will be available on 8/1
Stromboli is the latest in my Knitaly series- tee patterns inspired and named for places in Italy. My dream is to one day visit all the places in the series! Stromboli is an island near Sicily, and the home of an active volcano (Mount Stromboli).
This pattern is knit from the bottom up in the round, then separated for front and back which are worked flat. After joining the shoulders, sleeve stitches are picked up and worked in the round, either to long or short length as preferred. Finally collar stitches are picked up and worked.
I recommend using a yarn with cotton or linen content to maximize the comfort for warm weather wear, and a solid or tonal yarn to best show the stitch pattern. Mine is knit is [mYak Kupa][1], a blend of baby yak and organic cotton that is exceptionally soft and drapey for light, lacey tees like Stromboli!
mYak has put together kits for this pattern, you can find them [here][2]!
