Girdwood

$9.00

This pattern will be live on 9/5- thank you!

Girdwood is a top down, colorwork yoke sweater that feature a brioche/tuck stitch pattern on the body and sleeves. Options are provided for a folded neckline (pictured), turtleneck or crew neck. The fit is designed to be oversized for maximum coziness. The pattern is named for the town in Alaska where Alyeska, our biggest ski resort is located. This design was inspired by the colors and views of the Alaskan winter landscape.

I've used a new yarn from Ritual Dyes for mine- Sylph is a worsted weight brushed suri blend of 74% suri alpaca / 22% merino wool / 4% nylon that is wildly soft and so light and dreamy! You can find kits for this pattern on their [website][1]. The team at Ritual Dyes generously provided the yarn for this design and dyed my dream palette to capture the moody pastels of Alaskan winters. Thank you Rachel, Martha and Ritual Dyes team for making my perfect Alaskan winter sweater dreams come true!

You can use any suitable worsted weight yarn as long as you are able to match the required gauge. Check out the tester projects for yarn ideas!

Girdwood is size inclusive to fit chests measuring from 30-66".
